I am trying to separate Deep Summer from Soft Winter without rushing the decision. Similar cool shades begin to overlap when I compare them in person. I kept the light constant before judging any of the fabrics. Then I removed makeup and bright accessories so they would not influence the result. Some deep colours added clarity, while others made the overall effect feel severe. Muted blue and berry shades seemed easier, though I am unsure whether that is familiarity. Rather than naming a season first, I noted contrast, texture, and eye clarity. A structured color analysis might help me sort the notes without forcing an immediate seasonal conclusion. I do not expect a quiz to replace a trained consultation or good lighting. Have you found a reliable way to compare depth against softness at home? I would appreciate approaches that are realistic outside a studio. A small, repeatable process feels more useful than chasing a perfect label immediately. I hope that a slower record will make my final comparison less influenced by mood. Thanks in advance for examples of what you found genuinely repeatable.
